Welcome to Shopclues Open API documentation! Shopclues platform has been built up in an open manner to serve as the operating system in the ecommerce ecosystem. The API’s have in built HTTP features for authentication allowing end users to interact securely with our platform from a client-side web application. All our request, responses and errors are provided in JSON format for consumption.

To help with the implementation of these, we provide both test and live credentials to our clients. They can use relevant keys for development, SIT and UAT.

The documentation provides sample requests of each API which can be used in As-Is format for development.

We have 2 types of integrations for our partners –

1. Private Marketplace model

At ShopClues, our vision is to take eCommerce to every corner of the country i.e. to the real Bharat. A number of partners with similar vision have partnered with us to create an online shopping experience for rural India. We at ShopClues, empower these partners to provide the best ecommerce experience to their end consumers through our open API platform.

We offer two solutions for this-

a. Pre Built Website – In this type of integration, we provide a pre-built website with end to end technology and UI experience. This is a white labelled website with all the ecommerce modules already integrated . The partner can just use the site as a plug and play module into his existing system and enjoy the benefits of complete shopclues technology.

b. Build You Experience - In this, affiliate creates his own experience leveraging our APIs. Our framework comprises of open APIs for each of the modules in ecommerce space which can be used for creation of end to end ecommerce platform.

2. Seller Store APIs –

As a seller, we understand our partners might work on various marketplaces as well as their offline stores. In order to ensure that their inventory and orders are managed centrally through a unified system / ERP system, we provide Seller Store APIs. These enable the sellers to register their businesses, manage their products, orders and returns, along with other aspects of doing business online.
